Meta seeks a highly motivated technology enthusiast to serve as Product Counsel for our AI organization. This role will advise AI product and research teams on legal and regulatory issues, which will require application of complex and evolving legal frameworks to a new and innovative space. Be sure to reference GoInhouse.com in your application.Associate General Counsel, AI Product Responsibilities• Serve as primary legal partner for several AI product and policy teams working on proposed AI initiatives, including research and publications, to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies for products across multiple jurisdictions• Coordinate with product, engineering, compliance, trust and safety, product marketing, public policy, communications and other cross-functional teams product development and external communications• Lead consensus building across legal partners and coordinate legal advice across legal issues such as data protection and privacy, IP, intermediary liability, consumer protection, security, and integrity• Provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies for products across multiple jurisdictionsMinimum Qualifications• J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar• 10+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience with internet or technology companies• Experience with product or regulatory counseling related to areas of law such as consumer protection, privacy, data security, and intellectual property lawPreferred Qualifications• Experience working on AI-powered products• Experience working proactively, independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment• Experience collaborating in a multi-stakeholder environment, navigating complex issues, and driving high-impact projects• Prior in-house experience at a technology company• Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning technologiesLocations2Use ctrl + scroll to zoom the mapZoom inZoom outRecenterData CenterAbout MetaMeta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
