Meta is seeking a leader of the x-RL Finance “cross team” within the Finance & Business Planning (FBP) organization. In this highly impactful role, you will oversee our RL-wide horizontal cross team responsible for core deliverables and projects that can be most efficiently completed centrally within the RL Pillar. We expect the x-RL cross team to continuously strive to make RL Finance more efficient, while delivering high quality, critical planning work, by leveraging deep expertise in RL Finance processes, x-RL Finance relationships, and visibility to work spanning our vertical teams within RL Finance (to identify opportunities and connect dots). Successful candidates for this role will need well-rounded knowledge of core FP&A concepts, team leadership experience, and strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Prior experience managing a team is required.x-RL Finance Manager Responsibilities:• Lead close and forecast cycles across the verticals within RL Finance (in coordination with RL Consolidations), including defining timelines, templates and process, and the preparation of flux commentary and forecasts• Help execute the annual budget process, including partnering with vertical FP&A teams to provide support on workstreams to allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and execute on operational plans• Develop and maintain proactive, collaborative partnerships between the RL vertical FP&A teams, RL Consolidations, Corporate FP&A and other cross-functional teams including Accounting, Technical Accounting and Enterprise Engineering• Drive the long-term transformation of our FP&A planning approach, operations, and technology, including identifying and sponsoring initiatives to continuously improve, automate and scale forecasting and reporting tools and systems• Support risk management, internal controls, and financial compliance• Provide thought partnership and foster collaboration across the RL Finance organization while directly leading a team of 10+ leads and individual contributorsMinimum Qualifications:• Superior communication skills to tailor messaging for audiences of varying level of seniority and technical experience• Bachelor's degree• Understanding of financial statement analysis and core financial planning processes• 10+ years of experience in FP&A, consulting, investment banking, business strategy, business operations and/or analytics• Proven track record of building cross-functional relationships and partnering with senior leadership across organizations• Proven Excel and analytical skills to translate large amounts of data into both insights and recommendations• Experience with multi-tasking and shifting priorities quickly under pressure and competing deadlines• Management experience leading and developing teams through a wide spectrum of scopePreferred Qualifications:• Experience driving operational efficiency and execution• Experience working with financial planning systems, preferably Oracle products (e.g., Hyperion Essbase)• Experience with improving financial planning systems and tools (e.g., Oracle Hyperion Planning/Essbase/Fusion/Cloud) to drive process efficienciesAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
