The International Tax Director will oversee a team of International Senior Tax Accountants, managing the U.S. international tax compliance process as well as quarterly and year-end provision processes.THE DAY-TO-DAY:• Manage U.S. international tax compliance efforts (forms 8865, 5471, 8858, 1118, 8900 series forms) with a focus on process improvement.• Lead the U.S. international tax provision process with a focus on streamlining information requests for efficiency.• Oversee the company's U.S. foreign tax credit calculation as it relates to compliance, provision and cash tax analysis.• Lead BEPS compliance efforts, including developing Pillar Two processes and procedures as well as compliance oversight.• Oversee engagements related to the local tax filings of subsidiaries and timely filing of such.• Assist in tax analysis of M&A projects including modeling the US international tax impact of proposed tax planning ideas.• Work closely with cross functional business partners to develop and maintain a deep understanding of foreign entity operations, transaction flows and associated risks.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Business/Finance (with an emphasis in Accounting), or a related field• 4+ Years experience in an accounting firm and/or in-house corporate tax dept. or prior relevant experience• Strong technical knowledge of corporate and international taxation, including ability to analyze tax issuesTHE PERKS & BENEFITS:• Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally• Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more• Free Parking• Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)• Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the communityFULL JOB DESCRIPTION:https://mgmresorts.marketpayjobs.com/ShowJob.aspx?EntityID=2&jobcode=12299This is your chance to explore a new and exciting career opportunity within MGM Resorts International.
