THE JOB:
As a Lead Set Up Porter, you’ll play a key role in shaping the guest experience from the very beginning. You'll be responsible for setting, striking, maintaining and cleaning any meeting and event spaces. With a warm smile and attention to detail, you’ll help create an atmosphere that feels both welcoming and memorable. By tuning into each guest’s needs and preferences, you’ll help craft moments that leave a lasting impression long after their visit ends.
THE STARTING RATE: $22.0257
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Set banquet rooms as per diagrams and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure it is set-up correctly prior to event start time
Inspect rooms to make sure rooms are clean before and after function
Place signs and refresh meeting rooms
Clean and dismantle room set-ups
Keep storage areas in proper order
Gather all equipment needed for designated set up
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
1+ year of experience with banquet set-ups
Prior supervisory experience is preferred
Ability to take initiative and exhibit flexibility
Able to function in a fast-paced environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
