Our Global Security Sales Enablement & Readiness Team is seeking an individual to drive this transformation by ensuring our sellers have the required Microsoft Security skills for successful customer engagement.We are hiring for a Director, Sales Strategy Enablement role. As part of the Global Security Sales Enablement & Readiness team, you will own the end-to-end design and delivery of sales enablement strategies in your aligned space, partnering across the company to drive the right learning approach to deepen the executive, sales and technical skills that are required to ultimately accelerate the customers’ cybersecurity journey. Proactively identify those needs, anticipate and resolve blockers, and adhere to milestone and deadline commitments.Cross Functional Partnerships• Establish and maintain key partnerships with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Field Sales). Manage and cultivate working relationships with leaders (e.g., Directors, General Manager [GM] level, Corporate Vice President [CVP]). Lead virtual (indirect) teams in a matrixed environment and influence high-impact deliverables. Foster partnerships within the Security GTM team to ensure a coordinated approach across sales business strategy, readiness, and programs.Sales Insights, Readiness, and Activation• Collaborate across the business ecosystem to ensure a good understanding of your aligned solutions/segments. What drives the business, both now and in the future, in order to translate into the design and activation of the most impactful sales enablement and readiness strategies. Bring a growth mindset and a “learn-it-all” attitude.Sales Landing• Define readiness and enablement strategies across various Microsoft sales and planning activities. Collaborate with Field and Corporate leaders to identify focus areas and cases for change. Lead, manage, and adjust plans and plays to achieve desired business outcomes. Ensure change management and continuous improvement across deliverables.Community Ownership• Lead an assigned Security cohort/community and own the regular enablement and readiness business rhythms, including virtual and in-person events. Support the community to increase their business acumen, connected sales and operational excellence core priorities. Foster a sense of community among team members by promoting open communication and mutual support.Problem Solving and Insights• Synthesize findings into insights for sales readiness and enablement activities, including implications that inform sales go-to-market objectives. Be a thought leader and develop recommendations against those insights that will drive broader business opportunity for Microsoft and the Security business. Create frameworks and methodologies to drive problem solving and insights. Share best practices with peers.Other• Embody our culture and valuesQualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in Information Technology (IT) business consulting, sales enablement, sales readiness, sales operations, business development, or field sales• OR equivalent experience.• 6+ years experience in sales enablement or sales readiness strategy (2 years out), management consulting, or equivalent.Additional Or Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 7+ years marketing, strategy, sales, sales leadership, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience• OR Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 5+ years marketing, strategy, sales, sales leadership, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience• OR equivalent experience.• Previous management experience in Sales or Sales Enablement• Familiarity with Microsoft security solutions• Familiarity with competitive security solutions• 4+ year of technical or consultative security sales experience preferred• Instructional design experience beneficialSales Strategy Enablement IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $248,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $268,900 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
