If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.SummaryThe main function of a Lab/Test Engineer at this level is to apply configuration skills at an intermediate to high level. The Test Engineer will analyze, design, and develop test plans and should be familiar with at least one programming language.Job Responsibilities• Configuring and testing hardware devices across Windows Server and Ubuntu Server platforms.• Deploying and managing test machines.• Refining test plans and executing test cases.• Performing hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting issues.• Collaborating closely with the development team to advance the functionality of hardware systems.Requirements• 5-7 years of overall experience in the field.• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required; some business/functional knowledge or industry experience preferred.• Software testing experience in Azure Cloud/Windows/Linux server environment required.• Ability to read and write at least one programming language such as C#, C/C++, SQL, etc.; RUST is a plus!• Knowledge of software quality assurance practices with strong testing aptitude.• Understanding of personal computer hardware, deploying, and managing hosts and virtual test machines.• Familiarity with internet protocols and networking fundamentals.• Solid understanding of the software development cycle.• Demonstrated project management ability.• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.Additional Details• Location: Redmond, WA• Duration: 10 Months• Pay Range: $49 - 55.50 per hourAGS is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer (M/F/Disability/Veterans).
