This role brings the unique opportunity to influence and shape customer engagements and go to market (GTM) strategy and messaging at a global level. As a Product Marketing Manager for our two flagship offerings Azure Migrate and Modernize, and Azure Innovate, you will lead the marketing strategy spanning internal and external audiences, specifically focusing on the customer experience. You will be responsible for being the custodian of customer messaging and landing it across all the existing and new channels – digital, social, events, and more. We are continuously expanding scope and value to these flagship offerings which you will land in market as launches. This is a high visibility role with tremendous potential to drive direct impact for the Azure business and our customers.Our Azure Programs & Scale Engines team is a group of people who are passionate about cloud technologies and the opportunities it creates. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.Responsibilities• Own strategy and execution of customer marketing for Azure offerings including messaging, web experience, digital marketing strategy, and research• Lead launch strategy for Azure Innovate and Azure Migrate & Modernize offerings at key milestones – including internal and external communication, AR/PR strategy, event strategy, writing announcement blogs• Partner closely with the Global demand center (GDC) to land Azure offerings across all relevant integrated marketing plans and relationship marketing engines.• Partner in the vision and design of customer experience v-next for Azure offerings to drive ACR and enhance customer value through offerings• Understand offerings roadmap, and communicate and land across all relevant marketing vehicles (customer and partner messaging updates, seller enablement etc.)• Partner with Azure marketing Product Marketing Managers to land Azure offerings across all relevant strategy planning platforms e.g. fiscal year planning, strategy memos, customer journeys etc• Be a custodian of customer journey – rationalize against all other internal and external programs and offerings to land Azure offerings as hero offeringsQualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business• OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business• OR equivalent experience• 3+ years' experience in product marketing, product management experience, brand marketing or advertising experience• 2+ years' experience with cloud or SaaS product marketingAdditional Or Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business• OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business• OR equivalent experience• Cross functional team leadership – Ability to work with stakeholders from different orgs, and levels• Executive presence/communication – Ability to get executive buy-in on strategy and report upwards• Influence without authority – Understand stakeholder motivations and drive to goals without direct authority• Strategic thinking but also detail oriented – Ability to keep an eye on big picture strategy but execute on details• Customer obsessed mindset – Ability holding the customer experience at a high bar and representing their voice• Executing with precision- Ability to own high visibility marketing activities need thorough planning and focused executionProduct Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
