The Security Commercial Solution Area (CSA) Team positions the value of our best-in-class security solutions & services to enable Corporate commercial customers and public sector organizations to accelerate successful business outcomes of their digital transformation more securely.Sales Lead, Security Solution Area Specialists - SMB (Small, Medium Business) is accountable to drive adoption and consumption of Security workloads through collaboration and leadership across the region that they are leading. This role reqquires you will be an experienced saless lead who can coach other sales team members to execute on strategy while creating a voice of the customer and field feedback loop , have the ability to collaborate and build trusted relationships in a matrix model without direct authority , an exceptional experience with Partner Engagement & Acceleration in a scale model and contributes to the vision and go to market strategy to accelerate growth and increase market share of the Security business across the region.Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.Responsibilities• Partner with Regional SMB Sales leads to develop and land cross-engine sales execution plan. • Drive solution play execution plan across engines aligned to revenue accountability, Stakeholder interlock on the right partners and resources given selected cohort target list.• Business Performance: manage performance insights, input to forecast, rhythm of the business (RoB) with stakeholders on course correction. • Top deal support: Engage in top unmanaged deals and engage appropriate resources to accelerate close. Focus on competitive and dark to cloud wins.• SMB Voice of customer and partner: Regional market insights, local events and specific top deal escalation. • Partner Performance: Assess top partner performance, define correction, partner with regional Partner (GPS) lead and Sales Enablement & Operations Leaders to adjust programs and offers.• Partner Engagement & Acceleration: Partner with GPS to accelerate growth through partner advisor• Embody our Culture & ValuesQualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications• 7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.• 3+ years security solutions or services sales experience• 3+ years sales management in a Small/Medium business including experience of channel management and programs.Additional Or Preferred Qualifications• 9+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR a Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.• 6+ years security solutions or services sales experienceSolution Area Specialists IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,000 - $217,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $168,600 - $237,500 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
