UX Designer (Contract)Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.Summary:The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through and understanding of end-user needs.Job Responsibilities:Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers’ business problem/goals.Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.Requirements:10+ years experience required.Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.Strong understanding and experience applying Human Centered design principles and best practices.Previous experience designing web app design systems - both visual and UX systems - required.Previous experiences designing applications incorporating generative AI preferred.Previous experience working with front-end devs to create working code-based prototypes preferred.Knowledge and application of accessibility UX best practices and principles preferred.Ability to present design concepts and explain their uses and function.Strong writing, and communication skills.Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.Attention to detail, high level of visual design polish.Collaboration and independence.Additional Details:Location: RemoteDuration: 2 MonthsPay Range: $55 - 62.50 per hourAGS is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer (M/F/Disability/Veterans).
