What You’ll Do: 

Huntress is building a dedicated team to support our growth goals in the mid-market space. We need experienced Account Executives to drive net new sales opportunities within their assigned geographical territory. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with internal teams to drive net-new business opportunities. You will work closely with your SDR (sales development representative) on initial prospecting and then be responsible for positioning through contract close primarily in cooperation with a channel partner. This is a quota-carrying role and is critical to the continued success of Huntress.


Huntress approaches sales as an opportunity to educate our partners and we have a value based, solution-oriented sales process. We do not push end of quarter deals or haggle for every dollar, we believe that if our product is right for the prospect, they will buy it. 

We're looking for individuals who embrace our sales approach, who are value-based sellers, coachable, curious, intelligent, resilient, team oriented, and have customer centric empathy.


Responsibilities: 

  • Meet and/or exceed your quota by qualifying and closing (in connection with our reseller/VAR community of partners) new business opportunities at mid-market companies (between 250 and 2,000 employees/end points)
  • Creatively source new prospects and thoughtfully position Huntress' offerings to suit their needs. Be a trusted advisor and an industry expert
  • Stay current on competitor offerings and be able to identify their strengths and vulnerabilities
  • Turn client feedback into actionable strategies to drive new business and address competitive risks. Influence client decisions and advocate for client needs to negotiate win-win solutions
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with various functional teams including Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, Product Management and Partner/Customer Success to ensure seamless implementation and effective ongoing account growth
  • Exceed sales goals and quarterly revenue targets while being a collaborative member of the team
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity, forecast and opportunity information in our CRM


What You Bring To The Team: 

  • 7+ years selling experience
  • 4+ years of full cycle sales experience at a software or technology company
  • Experience selling directly to Mid-Market customers
  • Strong track record of success driving revenue creating new business and delivering a customer centered experience
  • Ability to work well independently and be highly responsive to clients
  • Critical thinking in a variety of situations, demonstrating drive, initiative, energy, and sense of urgency in acquiring and serving clients
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to events and customers, as needed
