As a Strategic Alliance Manager at Middesk, you will lead and expand our strategic alliances team, driving impactful relationships with key partners to foster mutual growth. In this pivotal role, you’ll design and execute alliance strategies, build the program from the ground up, and establish best practices and metrics to ensure measurable success.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Go-To-Market, Product, and Operations to drive product adoption and integrate partner insights into our offerings. Leveraging your industry expertise, you’ll identify, negotiate, and close valuable partnerships, ensuring a seamless partnership experience for all stakeholders.
Drive Alliance Growth: Own the relationship, strategy, and growth of each alliance in your portfolio, focusing on satisfaction, retention, and mutual success.
Program Development: Build and manage the strategic alliances program from the ground up, setting best practices and performance metrics.
Collaborative Product Strategy: Work closely with partners to develop joint strategies that drive adoption and usage of our product suite.
Internal Collaboration: Partner with Go-To-Market, Product, and Operations teams to align on goals and drive product adoption.
Identify and Secure Opportunities: Pursue, negotiate, and close new partnerships that add significant value to both Middesk and its partners.
Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships across partner organizations, creating champions at every level.
Subject Matter Expertise: Deeply understand partner use cases and our product suite to provide effective solutions and advocate for partner needs.
Advocate for Product Development: Regularly communicate partner product needs to Product teams to shape the future product roadmap.
Team Support: Contribute to developing new content and processes for the strategic alliances team.
Experience: 6+ years in Strategic Alliances, Partnership Management, or similar roles within B2B SaaS; must have experience managing high-value accounts. Banking or Fintech experience required.
Strategic Leadership: Skilled at guiding strategic conversations with decision-makers, developing innovative solutions to advance partner success.
Relationship Building: Proven track record of building and nurturing strategic relationships across all levels within partner organizations.
Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and ability to identify and pursue mutually beneficial opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working closely with Go-To-Market and Product teams to align goals and advocate for partner needs.
Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with technical, operational, and executive audiences.
Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and prioritizing effectively to maximize productivity.
