Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, apply your academic knowledge, and grow your skills while contributing to impactful solutions. You will also work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting mechanical plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs.

What you will do:
  • Design to client and regulatory requirements.  
  • Manage mid to large size projects including coordination with the client and other consultants, document production, attendance at design meetings, correspondence with clients and partners and construction management (shop drawings, site observation and punch lists). 
  • Manage projects to schedule and budget.
  • Preparing project documents and reports.  
  • Maintaining project files.  
  • Data and document entry into various platforms.  
  • Assist management as directed.  
  • System Load Calculations(building loads, pump calculation, etc.)  


What we are looking for:
  • CAD, AutoCAD, REVIT experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.  
  • AutoCAD and REVIT proficiency. 
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.  
  • Knowledge of standard format specification development.  
  • Knowledge of assorted vendor equipment selection programs and other software applicable to the design process. 


Your background:
  • Four-year technical degree from an ABET accredited institution.  
  • 0 –2 years of relevant professional experience.  
  • Memberships in discipline specific professional organizations such as ASHRAE or ASPE.  
  • EIT certification preferred.


$70,000 - $80,000 a year
The actual base pay depends upon many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
