Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
MIND 24-7 is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide immediate walk-in mental health services in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have experience with crisis interventions and family health treatment.
Skills
- Unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Arizona
- Master's level certification in Psychiatric Mental Health
- Experience in crisis mental health and family health treatment
- DEA license
Responsibilities
- Complete initial psychiatric assessments
- Develop individualized mental health treatment plans
- Provide psychotropic medication treatment
- Communicate with parents, guardians, and social services
- Participate in care coordination with non-physician providers
- Assist in policy development and program growth
- Order and review laboratory tests
- Collaborate with outpatient clinicians and psychiatric providers
- Participate in committees and required trainings
Education
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- National certifications
- Dual certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Doctor of Nursing Practice preferred
