Job Details:Job Title: Graphic DesignerLocation: Waukegan, IL (4-days onsite / week)Duration: 6+ MonthsType: Full-time, ContractDescription:The successful candidate will support the IT Marketing & Communications team in multiple areas. Must be highly organized and ready to work independently in a very fast-paced environment. Must bring general marketing knowledge and show strength in Graphic Design, the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft 0365 suite of tools, with the understanding of marketing concepts, proofreading, digital solutions, employee engagement, culture/DEI, data and analytics.Candidate must learn the our client’s Brand guidelines and will assist in developing and maintaining various graphic design assets needed for our team and our internal organization’s IT customers. This role requires an understanding of multiple aspects of design, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective design solutions.Key commitments:• Be Bold.• Bring Our Best.• Pursue Excellence.Key responsibilities:• Graphic Design• Image Sourcing• Branded PowerPoint Presentations• Project Design and Implementation:• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.• Implement and deploy design solutions that meet business needs and improve efficiency.• As a member of the IT Marketing and Communications team the candidate will also be trained across all functions including:• SharePoint design• Project management• Proofreading• Writing• In-person event support• Promote a sense of belonging/cultureSoft skills:• Be a critical thinker• Self-motivated• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently, and as part of a team• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills• Comfortable working with all levels across the organizationSelected candidate must work in the office 4 days per week. There will be no exceptions made. One day per week may be scheduled for remote work.Start and end times are flexible.
