We are in search of exceptional individuals who are ready to excel in this dynamic and constantly evolving sector.What you'll do...The Area Manager position is a multi-faceted role in franchise sales and business management that can be very rewarding financially and personally..As an Area Manager, you will oversee the growth and success of your area by assisting the franchise owners in your assigned region to grow their businesses and working with prospective buyers to sell new locations. This is a hybrid position, which allows you to control your schedule while working both in the field and from home and you will oversee over 20 locations throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region.In this role, you'll serve as a representative of our company and will be responsible for continually striving to accelerate growth, strengthen relationships with customers, and provide services to franchisees in accordance with company policy, vision, and mission.Specific sales opportunities will include growing the region in terms of the number of locations and meeting with people interested in owning their own franchise, assisting them in finding a location, negotiating rents, and helping them into business.Specific areas of support include sales and operational support for the region. Providing consultations on business management with the Greater Philadelphia Region franchisees will be essential to drive growth and performance.Day to day, you will...• Meet with potential franchise leads to show them our business model.• Research potential areas for new development.• Consult and offer expertise to franchise owners by assisting with and influencing long-term goal development.• Provide solution-based coaching and consulting to franchisees to increase their business by reviewing P&Ls to ensure profitability, create marketing strategies and ensure our proven system of success is being implemented.• Articulate and drive our strategies and priorities, adapting messaging for local market relevancy. Identify and recommend solutions for a consistent business approach, but remain sensitive and alert to the individual business needs of each franchisee.• Other duties, as assigned.What we want you to bring to the team...• 2 years of printing Industry experience: Any or all offset, digital print, signage, print marketing, sales or relevant experience is welcome.• 6-8 years of business experience, including strategic development.• Franchise sales experience is preferred, but experience in general sales/marketing, print/sign sales, business management, or similar work environment is required.• Effective verbal and written communications skills, public relations skills, detail-oriented, math, and analytical skills.• Good interpersonal skills.• Must be an organized self-starter Ability to make independent decisions; assume responsibility for their work and decisions.• Understanding of the dynamics of franchising.• Demonstrated project management skills, the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, balance short- and long-term priorities, and deliver projects on time and within budget.• Three years of supervisory experience, including coaching, counseling, and reviewing performance.• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
