Miracapo Pizza Company is the leading North American manufacturer of specialty frozen pizzas for some of the world’s largest retail, foodservice and consumer branded companies. For over 30 years we have specialized in contract manufacturing, private label, and brand development.
Quality Assurance Analyst will manage supplier documentation for compliance with supply chain preventive control and labeling requirements. Provide analytical and strategic support to the QA and Technical Services Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Obtain, review, and approve material specifications and other documentation required for supplier compliance.
Complete necessary forms and obtain required documentation to maintain specific certifications, such as Gluten-Free.
Contact suppliers with any material inquiries from customers or for internal purposes.
Complete supplier risk assessments based on vendor performance and material spec adherence.
Analyze and report on raw data collected from quality and operations, as needed.
Manage the micro results database, complete trend reports, and send regular updates to QA/Food Safety Management.
Maintain the customer complaints log and complete trend analysis.
Create specifications for finished products.
Conduct random label audits to ensure label accuracy.
Complete label approval applications, nutritional database updates, and label creations/updates, as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members on special projects, as needed.
Support Document Control with process documentation updates and maintenance.
Assist with other Technical Services responsibilities as needed.

4-6 years data analysis/operations experience
Previous experience in Quality Assurance a must
Ability to correlate results from data analysis to food safety/quality processes and to suggest improvements
Strong process orientation
Strong self-direction and initiative
Willingness to take complete ownership over specific activities
Good oral and written communication skills
B.S. or B.A. strongly preferred
PCQI and HACCP Certified preferred
Experience with Genesis nutritional software and TraceGain Supplier Portal, or equivalent, a plus
