MIV Expeditor (Contract)

Role + Responsibilities

Endress+Hauser’s MIV (main instrumentation vendor) program was created with the vision of bringing Endress+Hauser’s unique expertise around instrumentation and project lifecycles to create value and provide a world-class experience for our clients. The MIV program accomplishes through reducing the number of client touch points, promoting project consistency, increasing visibility on project progress, and quickly pivoting to meet our client’s need during project execution. We aim not just to execute but drive the client’s project schedule and reduce nonconformances that could delay startup of their projects.

• Create and change purchase orders specific to the project.
• Engages in discussions with vendors to confirm receipt of Purchase Orders.
• Manages and performs the functions related to tracking, tracing, and updating the status of order deliveries.
• Accurate reporting to the project team members.
• Leads regular supplier meetings to obtain updates and manage priorities with the supplier.
• Works with supplier to identify potential delivery risks and potential mitigation actions.
• Communicates with the customers to agree on schedules & expediting fees as required to maintain project schedule. Will work with suppliers to quantify impacts and cost of schedules and any corresponding expediting fees.
• Confirm accuracy of data within ERP system related to confirmed and projected ship dates on a regular basis.
• Work with project team members and supplier in case of supplier issues.

Qualification + Profile

• 1 year of expediting / purchasing experience preferred
• SAP, Professional in Excel
• High level of leadership skills
