We have an immediate opening for an Account Executive - Social Media in our Los Angeles office. Our Wagstaff Social Media team is composed of creative and analytical minds with go-getter personalities. We have a love for all things hospitality - culinary, hotels, travel and more. The right candidate knows how to build relationships with clients, mentor colleagues and can work a standard Reel into an epic piece of storytelling.
Responsibilities
● Offer behind-the-scenes support while being client-facing
● Execute strategy, with focus on specialized areas such as copywriting, community management, pulling analytics, creating content calendars and coordinating with influencers
● Present during client meetings, as needed, and actively participate in drafting new business proposals
● Conduct research, reporting, influencer list building, and drafting presentations/decks
● Copywriting such community management, reports, influencer deliverables, paid social ads, and decks
● Advocate for the client, and proactively engage on their channels in a timely manner; engage with influencers
● Research and help develop strategic partnerships and creative campaigns. As needed, assist in coordinating (and attending) events on behalf of clients
● Provide general support on all client initiatives developed in the marketing campaign
● Execute content shoots for clients that may require traveling and being on-site
Requirements
● 1 - 2+ years of relevant full-time work experience in social media, agency and hospitality experience preferred
● Must be able to manage time and deadlines autonomously
● Comfortable working independently and as part of a multi-functional team
● Solid and professional communication skills
● Adaptable, solution-oriented, and resourceful when tackling challenges and obstacles
● Self-starter who loves taking initiative and seeing things through to completion
● Highly motivated to learn new things and improve your skills. Driven and compassionate
● Proficient in Google Business applications, Microsoft Office Suite and other platforms such as Adobe, Canva and social scheduling sites in order to produce report results and create tools and templates for client work
● Proficient in content capture via mobile device and camera and has editing skills
● Must be able to communicate in a clear and professional manner
● Excellent written and verbal skills
● Ability to work across multiple clients
● Knowledge and passion for the hospitality lifestyle industries - restaurants, travel/destinations/hotels, wine & spirits
Salary Range for this position: $55,000 - $62,000
