We have an immediate opening for a Paid Social Media Manager in our Overland Park, KS office. The Paid Social Media Manager is responsible for activation and management of paid social media campaigns across a portfolio of travel accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities
Paid Social Planning
Oversee buying across a mix of paid social media platforms
Manage and implement best practices regarding paid social media planning, placement, and data aggrigation for assigned client portfolio of paid social clients
Monitor paid social media trends, identifying new opportunities and innovation for paid social platforms
Monitor paid social optimizations and insights for the internal team and client
Vetting a clear vision on how tactical elements deliver on strategy
Be a subject matter expert in paid social targeting strategies and tactically build audiences to be used in campaigns
Oversee campaign ongoing assessment and work with paid social leads to implement optimizations and drive campaign results
Work closely with media team to effectively manage campaigns
Assist with data input and accuracy for monthly reporting
Paid Social Campaign Management & Oversight
Responsible for campaign development, stewardship, optimization, and reporting within various platforms, such as Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, TikTok, etc.
Outline campaign needs such as creative requests, targeting, campaign structure and naming conventions
Work as a cross-functional team with other paid social strategists and media planning teams to ensure campaigns launch on time and hit KPI goals
Collaborate with account team members to outline specs, messaging and placements for ad creative
Monitoring performance of client paid social campaigns in collaboration media and data teams
Identify optimization opportunities of paid social campaigns and proactively anticipate issues
Troubleshooting internal technical issues during paid social campaign execution working closely with media adops in the development of paid social ad structure and strategies
Assist with creating ad mockups and creative builds on Meta and various platforms
Skills and Qualifcations
1-2 years of experience in digital media/paid social platforms
Must demonstrate a high level of understanding of managing paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta ads manager
Experience with other paid social platforms such as TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Reddit is a plus
Working knowledge of paid social ad manager platforms and certifications
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate internally and externally Possess a strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with flexibility
