The role

At Mobbin our mission is to create value for our customers through shaping world-class user experiences. We are looking for a self-driven, well-rounded product designer with high attention to detail and great taste. As a designer on Mobbin, you’ll be able to have a huge impact on the overall direction of our future be highly influential in the design space together with our users and teammates. You are someone who is self-motivated and ambitious, with experience in shipping high-quality products quickly and iteratively.

About you

  • User-obsessed. You keep the user experience and journey central in your design thinking process, and spend as much time thinking about “why” as you do “how.”

  • Crafter. You have excellent craft and attention to detail, understanding how small nuances interact to create a seamless, intuitive design. Always looking for the next improvement.

  • Holistic thinker. You think broadly with your design, understand how a decision at X can impact something at Y, making sure the experiences all ties together cohesively.

  • Collaborative. You’ll work closely with other ambitious humans and understand the importance of a collaboration & cohesion and how it’ll help you, together, execute & drive things to the finish line.

  • Intentional. Every decision you make is as informed as possible and you don’t like to leave things for chance, always being two steps ahead.

  • Adaptable. You’re able to pivot when needed, embrace iteration and work with pace, bringing vision and direction in the midst of ambiguity.

  • Balanced. You’re not only passionate about the craft but also well rounded as a contributor, understand the importance of business, relationships, trade-offs etc

What you'll do...

  • Work with team leads on overall strategy & product direction.

  • Express ideas through visuals and prototyping (Figma).

  • Lead end-to-end design projects, from exploration to implementation to polish.

  • Solve user problems while maintaining high level of execution & consistency.

  • Work closely with engineers & other teams to ensure high quality implementation.

  • Help establish the culture & drive the design forward for Mobbin.

  • Support in other areas outside of product that needs design input.

You should…

  • Have the ability to adapt & evolve to a high growth environment

  • Have a strong eye for detail and good design taste which aligns with our brand

  • Be proficient with design/animation tools to execute your ideas (i.e. Figma, Principle, Jitter etc)

  • Be able to communicate your design to non-design teams & stakeholders

  • Be fluent in English

  • Have basic copy-writing skills

  • Be familiar with Mobbin’s design language & product.
