UX Designer web application project (part-time / temporary; 90% remote) Description : A Web UX Designer is needed to analyze and improve a business application that was converted from a Windows application to a. Net web application... The goal is to make this web version of the software more user-friendly and intuitive for clients and the internal accounting team (but not to the degree that a totally, public-facing website requires). Improvements are needed in the UX design of the pages, formatting and display of data and data grids, features on the pages, application workflow, etc. Responsibilities : - meeting with IT and business users to understand overall application functionality and issues - analyzing application page layouts, features, data displays, workflows, etc. to identify UX design improvements - creating wire frames/mockups, and application workflows diagrams to reflect UX designs - collaborate with application development team on UX design requirements - conduct validation/usability testing to ensure requirements have been implemented successfully Skills/Experience needed : - 2 years of UX Design experience with web-based, business applications - Experience creating wireframes/mockups and application workflow diagrams - Excellent oral and written English communication skills - Experience with accounting-related applications is a plus (If capable and interested, the UX Designer could also be selected to perform the UI Development portion of this project. Capabilities must include strong. Net web UI Development skills ASP. Net, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular2+, Bootstrap, KendoUI or some other grid/table display tool) Length : 2-3 months expected (longer, if performing any portion of the UI Development work) Pay structure : Hourly (W2 or Independent Consultant) Work type : Remote / work-from-home, with occasional in-person meetings in the Houston office . Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
