The Electronics Product Engineering Lead will support all phases of the product life cycle including development, new product introduction (NPI), product transfer, and product delivery.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with 9+ years relevant technical experience OR Master of Science Degree in Engineering with 7+ years’ relevant technical experience.o Alternately, a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Engineering with 12+ years’ relevant technical experience will be considered.• Technical expertise in electronics (or related technologies), both top level and subassemblies.• Keeping current with the latest developments in the field.• Detailed working knowledge of electronics (or related technologies) assembly and test areas, including extensive interfacing with technicians.• Proven experience coordinating and interfacing with customers and/or suppliers on complex projects or issues.• Strong mentoring skills.• Proven general capabilities in areas of Root Cause / Corrective Action, LEAN, Project Planning, Product line transfer and Data Acquisition and Analysis.Responsibilities:• Executing Moog's Electronics Obsolescence Process Policies and Procedures which include recurring, periodic reviews and reporting of obsolescence status for each electronics program to Business and Program Management, Design, Component and Product Engineering and all other stakeholders.• Coordinating the activities involving Component Engineering, Product Engineering, Program and Product Line Management, Electrical Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations and any other stakeholder function.• Following existing procedures and processes and further develop them for the management of obsolescence into a proactive and sustainable process.• Additionally, this role supports the Electronics Product Engineering Manager byManages a team of entry-level and/or experienced product engineers.• Assist department manager in interviewing, training, counseling, and preparing performance appraisals for other Product Engineers.• Assists with the execution of operational plans with some contribution towards the achievement of day-to-day results of the team.• Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within one department or multiple related departments.• Solving problems typically requiring complicated solutions, leading moderate improvements of processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of the area of responsibility.• Having a thorough understanding of all design principles associated with all products and train other team members in these principles.• Training, coordinating and evaluating the efforts of Product Engineers, Associate Product Engineers and Co-ops to support department goals.How We Care For You:• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits on day one• Flexible planned vacation• 401K match + employer contribution, profit share, and employee stock purchase options• Tuition reimbursement program• Inclusive company culture• Onsite wellness center, pharmacy, and vision center• Nature trails on campusSalary Range:• The base pay range for this opportunity is $110,000 - $130,000 per yearThis position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.Pay Disclaimer:The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Moog pay range or indicates the hourly rate for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications and performance.
