Role Summary:

We're seeking a talented technical specialist to join our team, focusing on creating high-quality video training data using advanced rendering tools and game engines. This role sits at the intersection of computer graphics and machine learning, helping build the next generation of video AI models.

What you'll do (responsibilities)

Here are some examples of projects you might work on as a Member of Technical Staff at our company:

• Design and implement automated rendering pipelines using Unreal Engine and Blender for generating diverse video training datasets

• Create and optimize 3D scenes, materials, and animations to produce photorealistic video content

• Develop tools and scripts to automate video generation workflows and ensure consistent output quality

• Collaborate with ML researchers to understand and deliver on specific video data requirements

• Maintain and improve rendering infrastructure to support large-scale video generation

• Document technical processes and contribute to internal knowledge bases

What we're looking for (qualifications)

The ideal candidate for this role should possess:

• 2+ years of experience with Unreal Engine and/or Blender, including scripting and automation

• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages

• Experience with computer graphics concepts, rendering techniques, and shader programming

• Demonstrated ability to create photorealistic 3D environments and animations

• Understanding of video codecs, formats, and processing pipelines

Nice to haves

• Experience with other rendering engines (V-Ray, Arnold, etc.)

• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and training data requirements

• Familiarity with distributed rendering systems and job scheduling

• Experience with procedural content generation

• Background in computer vision, signal or video processing
