Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant in our organization, you'll oversee daily financial transactions, prepare and analyze financial statements, and ensure accurate reporting. Your role will also involve implementing financial planning, managing audits, and developing financial systems to enhance efficiency in both of our businesses.

To qualify as a Senior Accountant, you should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA certification preferred. We're looking for candidates with three or more years of experience in the construction or real estate niche, along with expert knowledge of Quickbooks and other financial software.

The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in monitoring cash flow, preparing financial reports, and assuring compliance with tax regulations. By analyzing financial data and collaborating with senior leadership, you'll align financial strategies with our business goals, ensuring continued success.

Success in the Senior Accountant role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in financial systems, and excellent communication abilities. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the capability to handle confidential information are also critical.

A Senior Accountant should be proficient in financial software such as Quickbooks and Bill.com. Familiarity with Buildertrend is a plus, along with strong skills in Microsoft Excel to handle complex financial data efficiently.

To ensure accuracy in financial reporting, I implement thorough reconciliation processes and regularly conduct audits on our transactions. Attention to details and using trusted accounting software helps maintain precision in actual figures.
