Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks an Associate in New York, New York
Design, develop, and maintain applications used by Morgan Stanley's Investment Products business unit. Act as a liaison between Business and Technology process owners analyzing and defining business needs, functional and non-functional requirements, and use-cases. Document detailed technical specification requirements and support development of high performing low latency electronic trading systems, the progression of complex workflows, and the life-cycle management capabilities across sophisticated products like Equity, Options, Futures, Fixed Income, Unit Investment Trust, and Mutual Funds. Work with business units, developers, system architects, and external vendors to define project limitations, capabilities, interfaces, and performance needs. Support automation of end-to-end testing via Framework Automation Software Testing.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as a Business Analyst, or a closely related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience with: implementing Software Development Lifecycle with Agile or Waterfall methodology; data mapping; defining use cases; creating ETL architecture diagrams; supporting application deployment schedules; conducting unit testing, and coordinating UAT test and integration via FAST Automation; presenting products to prospective clients. Requires one (1) year of experience with: analyzing and translating business requirements into technical specifications for data conversions or data migration projects; project management from inception through implementation; MS Office suite, MS Project, Visio, and Project and Portfolio management (PPM); conducting Joint Application development (JAD) sessions; artifacts development; analyzing ER diagrams.
