It provides operational risk data analysis, executive reporting, framework governance, and committee management for Wealth Management Operational Risk with close coordination with 1st line and 2nd line business partners.The role of Vice President – Wealth Management Business Growth Monitoring Framework leads on developing and enhancing the monitoring framework for business growth trends requiring management attention in the Wealth Management function. Specific duties will include:• Managing the Wealth Management Growth Monitoring Review Forum agenda and materials• Identifying trends and anomalies in growth metrics and thresholds, including evaluating the impact of new product approvals, audit reports, and new issues• Cross-functional executive communication on reviews of breaches / trends to determine if action is required to support business growth• Oversight of management information and key risk indicator dashboards• Monitoring remedial action progress and reporting status updates to leadership forums• Facilitating the annual review and calibration of new and existing growth metrics, baselines and thresholds risk appetite and organizational growth objectives• Identifying opportunities for process optimization and automationRequired Qualifications:• Minimum 5 years of risk management or metrics analysis experience within financial services, preferably within business management, business controls, operational risk or internal audit• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure and to tight deadlines• Solid interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, with the ability to build / maintain a network of contacts, and coordinate with many stakeholders• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (critical thinking ability)• Ability to work well within a team• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, emphasis in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint• Proficient in data analytical and visualization tools, such as Snowflake, Dataiku, SQL, and Tableau• Bachelor’s degree requiredMorgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
