PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $19.95-$24.42 hourly. The full Pay Range is $18.75-$28.85 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

SUMMARY
The Mortgage Sales Assistant II is responsible for assisting the assigned Sr Mortgage Advisor(s) in mortgage production, marketing support, loan origination assistance and administrative support duties within BECU Mortgage Sales Department. This role is responsible for reviewing loan applications and collecting data from members to complete mortgage loan applications to ensure timely and accurate submissions and processing of first mortgage loans.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Onboard and/or review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and contact borrowers or appropriate parties for missing information.

Review and evaluate NOIA, approval conditions and assist in obtaining needed items for pipeline as requested.

Create sales and marketing content in support of Sr Mortgage Advisor.

Partner with Sr Mortgage Advisor on outreach and relationship building to expand referral network, including initial sales outreach.

Monitor and process daily reports for new mortgage loan applications to ensure compliance and pricing integrity.

Order or process documentation as needed for loan submission to pipeline (Items may include but not limited to -VOE, VOR, VOD, Tax Transcripts, FHA Case #, COE).

Work with Mortgage Fulfillment and Underwriting teams to analyze and solve loan issues that may arise in the mortgage origination loan process.

May receive, review and process lock requests for loans in pipeline.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.

Minimum two years of Mortgage Lending or equivalent such as Consumer Lending or Retail Banking experience required.

Proficient relationship management, problem resolution, and customer service skills.

Proficient at analyzing income documentation to qualify applicants within loan parameters.

Proficient organizational skills

Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate.

Comply with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).

Full time hours required, with additional hours as necessary.

Desk location in team territory location as directed by manager. Ability to travel to offices in region.
