Mortgage Servicing Analyst

Overview:

The purpose of this job is to provide ongoing administrative and analytical support for the mortgage servicing department.

Responsibilities:

Reviews and completes assigned task related to Inspections and Property Preservation according to investor guidelines and loan status
Prepare foreclosure recommendation forms, Preparation of check requisitions for payment to attorneys, appraisers, vendors, and property inspectors for mortgage servicing.
Review MERS daily reports and monthly reconciliation reports. Clear all issues. Request batches to be accepted.
Process Recast requests which includes reviewing request, corresponding with Investor Accounting and borrowers, preparing and processing documents.
Adjustable Rate Mortgages- handling all items related to adjustable rate loans.
Performs such other duties within mortgage servicing as may be assigned by Foreclosure Manager or other Mortgage Services management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma
Minimum of 2 years of mortgage experience
Knowledge of all business equipment to provide technical support to the department
Working knowledge of accounting, Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word and 10 key calculator
Must be able to function with minimal supervision, be well organized, flexible, able to interact with diverse personalities in department, and handle customers in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to communicate effectively with legal staff via email, written documentation and via telephone
2 years of college preferred
