What's so hard about hiring people in multiple locations anyway?

Each country, state, and municipality has its own employment requirements that need to be maintained on an ongoing basis. Those requirements span HR, tax, accounting, and legal which is complicated and requires deep expertise. As a result, keeping up with the differences and the sheer volume of obligations makes hiring people in many locations expensive and painful.

Operations drives mission-critical initiatives to build or optimize processes for scale at Mosey. You’ll work across all teams and vendors to lead strategic projects and provide planning, analytical, operational, and implementation support. We are looking for a hard-charging generalist who is focused on outcomes and builds strong relationships along the way.

Responsibilities

  • Assist new users with onboarding and meeting their goals
  • Provide support to users—answering questions and handling requests
  • Assist with updating billing and invoicing
  • Write user communications, announcements, and newsletters
  • Provide support to state registration requests, troubleshooting, and maintaining SLAs
  • Identify and implement improvements to registration and filing systems and processes
  • Identify and implement improvements to compliance requirements monitoring, updates, and coverage
  • Support product feature launches and rollout to customers
  • Leadership experience a plus

Capabilities

  • Excellent communicator, verbal and written
  • Analytical thinking, ability to break down problems into parts
  • Strong project management skills
  • Learns new skills and problem domains quickly
  • Proficiency with GitHub and coding tools a plus

Requirements

  • 2-4 years experience working in operations or related function
  • Experience working at an early-stage startup or eagerness to learn
  • Previous experience working directly with customers
  • Strong connection with the mission of the company

The compensation range for this position is between $50,000 and $100,000 (plus equity) depending on experience.
