Creative Director

A local Northern Chicago company is looking for a Creative Director to help create handcrafted home goods for their inhouse products. This person will collaborate with the Product Development team develop new products and refine production processes for standard and custom collections, innovate and create new handcrafted finishes for wallcoverings, and create new designs and patterns for new... wallcoverings and custom Atelier projects. This opportunity will allow you to express your creative ideas and artistic views while learning how to use new manufacturing tools. Required Skills & Experience • BS or BFA degree • 4+ years of experience working in the home décor or handed crafted goods industry • Passion for working in handcraft designs while demonstrating and utilizing creative visual solutions • Ability to commute 5 days onsite to the Northern Chicago region Desired Skills & Experience • Experience using Adobe InDesign • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Can work effectively on a team and be a team player
