Director - Security Onboarding, Client Facing

We are partnered with a cybersecurity managed service provider seeking a Director to join their team. This is a well-known organization that is making waves in the security services space.This role will focus on a few different components, ranging from client relationships to successful partnerships, to oversight of managed security services, and leadership of cross-functional teams. The ideal individual will have a high sense of security best practices and hands-on knowledge (SIEM, Azure Sentinel, Defender, CrownStrike, etc.). While this role will be high-level in scope, there will be a some hands-on problem solving that is required.This will be a full-time direct hire position. Will be based out of their Plano headquarters with good flexibility on remote (need to be local though). Salary will be between $190-220K plus bonus and benefits.Required Skills & Experience• Prior experience managing/leading security teams.• Strong executive presence as this will be a very client facing role.• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.• Demonstrated design, deployment, and administration experience with various Microsoft solutions, including Azure Active Directory, Intune, Microsoft 365 Defender (AAD IPC, MDO, MDE, MDCA, MDI), and Microsoft Information Protection.• Competency with security monitoring related to Microsoft cloud technologies.• Ability to follow established processes, adapt to ambiguity, be a fast learner, and demonstrate a high level of personal ambition and initiative.• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to develop technical documentation and presentations.• Demonstrated track record in troubleshooting complex product issues and executing test plans related to the integration of Microsoft technologies.Desired Skills & Experience• Prior consulting experience is preferred but not strictly required.• Familiarity with common security standards such as PCI, HIPAA, NIST, or CIS.• Strong understanding and knowledge of risk assessment, security assessment, and vulnerability management using Microsoft solutions.• Deep technical skills and experience with three or more of the following Microsoft technologies: Microsoft 365 Defender, AAD IPC, MDO, MDE, MDCA, MDI, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra , Azure AD , RBAC, Conditional Access, AzIP , Azure AD Connect, Azure MFA, Enterprise Permissions Management, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Intune.The Offer• $190-220K Salary (depending on experience) + Benefits + BonusesYou will receive the following benefits:• Medical Insurance – 100% employee coverage• Dental Benefits• Vision Benefits• Paid Time Off (PTO) - 3-4 weeks• 401(k) - 4% matchApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.#LI-JA1
