Game Writer

Our client, a well-known video game developer, is actively hiring a Remote Narrative Writer to join their team. This role will be remote but must support PST business hours.• This is a 4 month W2 contract with benefits offered!*In this role, you will be responsible for developing original stories, scripts, and dialogue for assigned games. You will also assist with creating games that have a positive impact on people's lives by writing compelling stories. They are looking for this person to collaborate with the Creative Director and story team to develop characters, plot, and key storytelling moments.Responsibilities:• Write scripts for games with emphasis on the description of scenes and characters• Write scripts in real-time and cinematic sequences• Review scripts by other writers and provide feedback• Write dialogue for AI and emergent gameplay eventsSkills:• 5+ years of experience in writing for online games• Prior experience in a writer role for AAA games is a plus• Proficient with MS Office Suite, experience with Photoshop and Illustrator preferredMotion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
