Job Summary The Videographer and Editor will support the credit union in creating compelling video and audio content that aligns with its goals and objectives. Job Description To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully. Schedule and publish marketing content to digital signage throughout the organization, demonstrating attention to detail and a willingness to learn new software and workflows. Performs production, video editing, and audio mixing/mastering of Mountain America’s Guiding You Forward Podcast. Manage the video team’s equipment and hardware. Assist in producing other videos for various purposes such as internal messaging and marketing, including content for websites, social media platforms, and broadcast. Support the conceptualization of creative solutions for assignments in line with goals, objectives, and scripts. Collaborate with other departments to ensure clear messaging through video content. Create product highlight and demonstration videos to meet marketing objectives. Support coordination with external vendors for video production needs. Collaborate with the marketing team on video styles and templates. Assist in coordinating aspects of video production including setup, lighting, sound, props, and equipment. Independently manages the entire video production process, including planning, filming, editing, and exporting videos for proofing/publishing. Assist in managing the organization’s digital video assets and online presence. Support the creation of still photographs as needed. Stay updated on industry advancements, including new equipment and techniques. Provide support for conference management and other related tasks. Assist with basic animation tasks. Perform other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Intermediate knowledge of video editing software, Adobe Premiere, and other apps from Adobe Creative Cloud. Ability to assist in bringing concepts or scripts to final video products. Basic understanding of crafting the overall feel of video edits. Spanish fluency is a plus. Specific or specialized knowledge of photography, sound mixing/mastering, or color correction and grading also a plus. Experience Two or more years of relevant, video production and/or video post-production experience. Education Bachelor’s degree in filmmaking or related field OR three years related work experience. Licenses, Certificates, Registrations n/a Computer/Office Equipment Skills Intermediate skills in video editing software and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. Comfortable and familiar with the Microsoft Office suite of tools and software. Adaptable and quick to learn new software, including project management tools like Adobe Workfront. Managerial Responsibility Have no supervisory/managerial responsibilities. Other Skills and Abilities Interest in marketing principles and creative storytelling. Willingness to learn and try new ideas. Working Hours Working hours may vary based on project needs. Occasional evening, weekend work, or travel may be required.
