Solutions Engineer

At Movement Labs, we are leading the way in blockchain technology with an open modular framework for building and deploying Move-based infrastructure, applications, and blockchains in any distributed environment. 

Movement Labs is seeking a dynamic and experienced Solutions Engineer to join our team and help drive the adoption of our innovative blockchain solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging with clients, understanding their technical requirements, and providing tailored solutions that leverage the power of the Move ecosystem.

The Solutions role focuses on three key areas:

1. Technical Excellence: Design and implement sophisticated, business-critical solutions for clients, ensuring seamless integration of Movement Labs' technology. Develop customized proofs of concept (PoCs), solution diagrams, and implementation plans that demonstrate the value of our products.

2. Client Engagement: Lead technical discovery sessions to capture client requirements and provide comprehensive post-sales support. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guiding them through the technical aspects of their journey with Movement Labs.

3. Product Feedback and Collaboration: Gather and share valuable feedback from clients with internal teams, influencing the product roadmap and ensuring that Movement Labs' solutions meet market needs. Collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to address technical challenges and ensure the seamless integration of our technology.

We are seeking a proactive, client-centric Solutions Engineer who excels in technical leadership and communication. This individual will have a strong understanding of the Move ecosystem, the ability to engage effectively with clients, and a proven track record in designing and implementing complex solutions. Experience in interfacing with clients to convey technical requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams is essential.

You Will:

• Partner with Movement Labs’ business development team to own all technical and solution aspects of prospective client engagements

• Explain and demonstrate Movement Labs’ products to prospective clients, ensuring they understand how our solutions meet their needs

• Lead technical discovery sessions to capture client requirements and design effective solutions. Develop customized PoCs, solution diagrams, and implementation plans

• Provide post-sales support and implementation guidance to ensure successful deployment of projects on the Movement Network. Collaborate closely with clients to address any technical challenges

• Gather valuable feedback and insights from clients and share them with internal stakeholders, including product and engineering teams, to influence the product roadmap

• Build and maintain an internal knowledge base with information about current and future products. Serve as a technical resource and consultant for internal and external stakeholders

• Represent Movement Labs in online communities and help other members of the Developer Relations team support builders in hackathons, discord, and private telegram groups

You have:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or similar role, preferably at an L2 or L1 Blockchain

• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in the Move Programming language 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in simple, clear terms

• Experience working with developers on implementing, integrating, and building blockchain based solutions 

• A deep understanding of blockchain technology, specifically the Move ecosystem, and a strong interest in blockchain solutions

• Creative and analytical problem-solving skills

• Experienced troubleshooting technical issues and resolving customer complaints promptly and effectively

• Developed understanding of Web3, crypto, and community dynamics

• Proactive, constantly seeking ways to improve their area of responsibility
