Join us!Job Description:This job is responsible for driving and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support for LOB or ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. From a reporting perspective, the Sr. Business Control Specialist will ensure contract management data is fit for purpose, defining controls and monitoring processes are in adherence with the Enterprise Contract Management. This role will collaborate closely with Front Line Units (FLUs) to deploy reporting solutions, execute initiatives to improve data quality and operational excellence. This role involves conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, including ensuring information is relevant and formatted for ease of interpretation and determine opportunities for automation & efficiency, recommending & implementing improvements as needed• Work closely with FLUs and management to understand reporting needs and objectives, ensuring that reporting aligns with organizational priorities• Regularly review and audit data sources, identifying and resolving data integrity issues via implementing and maintaining data quality controls to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data used in reports• Utilize data visualization tools to create intuitive graphics and charts that effectively communicate complex data to non-technical stakeholders• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies within large datasets, translating them into actionable insights for strategic decision making• Create and maintain documentation for reporting procedures, data definitions and training materialsRequired Qualifications:• Strong analytical and data visualization skills, with a deep understanding of data-driven storytelling principles and techniques• Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and negotiation skills enabling effective executive level communication with Leadership, ECM and FLUs• Ability to communicate complex data findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner• Demonstrates initiative and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility• Advanced skills in Excel (including pivot tables vlookup and chart creation) as well as PowerPoint• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceDesired Qualifications:• Minimum of 3 years of data and reporting experience• Familiarity with data modeling and data cleaning techniques• Possess a risk management and an analytical mindset with process and controls experience• Experience working in financial servicesShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week:40
