Position Summary
The Executive Medical Director (EMD), Heart Center provides executive leadership in the clinical, operational, and financial success of the Congenital Heart Center within Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network (MBCHHN). The EMD reports directly to the Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and drives the strategic growth of the service line and serves as the accountable clinical leader in collaborating with the administrative leadership of the Congenital Heart Center and relevant facilities, including performance optimization & compliance. The EMD, in partnership with the administrative leadership and cardiology co-director, directs the programs and strategies resulting in successful health outcomes, patient experience, medical cost efficiency, and workplace of choice to achieve high-performing high-value care. The EMD collaborates with ambulatory and hospital leadership to implement Congenital Heart Center strategies and program initiatives.Responsibilities
