Position summary:
The Maintenance Multicraft is responsible for maintaining complex electrical and mechanical equipment and executing projects and other assignments requiring electrical and mechanical skills.
Educational requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Technical school certificate preferred
Skills and experience:
Must Have:
Strong electrical skillset with experience in both industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance
Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
Working knowledge of controls components including but not limited to PLCs, HMIs, Inverters, etc.
Ability to handle both complex electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment
Preferred:
Mig and Arch welding experience
Ability to obtain powered lift equipment license
Written and verbal communication skills
Essential duties:
Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems
Participate in short-term facility and equipment projects utilizing mechanical and/or electrical skills
Participate in Preventative Maintenance program
Minimize equipment downtime and maximize equipment effectiveness
Be actively engaged in departmental and company wide improvement initiatives
Execute weekly assignments as scheduled by Team Leader
Complete documentation of work performed utilizing tools and resources in place
Support Operations, Quality and Process departments
Comply with Safety and Environmental procedures, regulations and initiatives including Lock Out/Tag Out.
Understand and support Interface's commitment to sustainability.
Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Maintain housekeeping
Perform other duties as assigned
