General Purpose:
The Multi-media Designer will work closely with the production team to collaborate and produce high-quality, branded content through videography, audio, and graphic design to support the Marketing and Communications efforts of the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Develop high-quality visual content for social media, web pages, multimedia projects, and email campaigns using video, photo, graphic design, and audio elements
- Collaborate with the production team on pre-production work to include developing concepts and storyboarding
- Conceptualize and develop print collateral, animated designs, visual effects, and motion graphics
- Create dynamic instructional and training materials using current technologies
- Review and edit videos incorporating raw footage, motion design, voiceover, and music
- Rework existing graphics to increase aesthetic value or apply consistent branding
- Present design concepts and animated designs to stakeholders
- Independently manage multiple creative projects, timelines, and deadlines
- Conduct and/or facilitate user acceptance testing, including developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, and documenting results
- Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goals
- Maintain and improve knowledge through professional associations, conferences, and seminars
- Lead and implement creative solutions for campaigns and day-to-day needs by collaborating with team members and outside departments to meet deadlines and objectives

- A portfolio and/or reel with dynamic visuals and strong narrative ability is a must. Strong preference for experience in lifestyle, consumer products and/or firearms knowledge
- Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere and After Affects; strong illustration and animation skills
- Demonstrated experience shooting and editing/producing professional videos
- Demonstrated ability to own multiple projects from concept to completion in a fast paced, dynamic environment and respond to changing schedules and priorities, strong communication, project coordination and scheduling skills
- A desire to take educated risks, try new ideas, and foster innovation
- Knowledge of broadcast production software for video and podcast production or willingness to learn
Competencies:
Education and/or Experience:
College degree in digital media production or related experience
Experience creating dynamic videos and graphics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to operate variety of videography and sound equipment and editing software’s

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but may require some work outside of these hours.
