Senior Program Manager, Learning - US

We’re on a mission to provide equitable access to economic opportunity, for everyone.

We close critical skill gaps in the workforce through a new kind of apprenticeship that combines work and learning. We begin by recognizing high-potential individuals both inside and outside of a company's current workforce and then we create applied, guided and equitable learning programs, with measurable impact. Because we believe the world needs a better way to match its potential.

We work with over 1,000 leading companies including the likes of Microsoft, Citi and Just Eat to help solve their business-critical problems, and we’ve trained over 12,000 professional apprentices in the tech and data skills of the future. This is made possible by our global team who are driven to achieve a mission that matters, together.

Join Multiverse and help us set a new course for work.

The Opportunity

The role of the Senior Program Manager is to manage entire curriculum programs, acting as a largely autonomous production pipeline leader, with an emphasis on speed to release, cost of build, and maintained quality. The Senior Program Manager engages with cross-team stakeholders as well as external subject matter experts to run highly autonomous content production programs, and coordinates with internal resources to bring externally produced content into Multiverse systems. In many ways, the Senior Program Manager is a superset of an industry-standard Project Manager.

Specifically, you will:

This role can expect to be given budget and delivery expectations, and then autonomously manage a program of content creation. A high level of expertise in engaging with external contractors—including coordinating with Legal, People, and Finance teams to execute contracts and statements of work, manage contractors to budget and deadlines, and so forth—is required. This role will have deadline and budget accountability for the programs under their purview.

In addition, this role will bring program management expertise across all Technical Curriculum Team operations, helping review processes and procedures for streamlining and improvement, establishing and executing standards for contractor engagement, and facilitating special-purpose “tiger teams” to develop new solutions and program types.

Finally, this role will be critical in facilitating the development of new curriculum products, which will involve coordinating cross-discipline contributors for product scoping and piloting.

About you:

  • Exceptional project management skills, adept at overseeing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proven track record of successfully managing high-volume content production pipelines

  • Strong leadership abilities, capable of guiding and motivating cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive program plans

  • Proficient in resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation strategies

  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements for increased productivity

  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget

  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • Experience engaging and working with external contractors

  • Experiencing defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to diagnose and measure internal team performance

  • Experience in high-volume content production environments

  • Existing network of contractor subject matter experts across a variety of technology domains

The salary range for this role is $115,000-$135,250
