Mural is seeking a results driven, innovative and adaptable Chief Product Officer to lead our product organization through a transformational phase. As the CPO, you will drive our product strategy, ensuring our offerings are innovative, customer centric, and aligned with the company’s growth goals. Your experience with product-led growth and/or consumer web products will be critical to our success. The ideal candidate will thrive in a private equity-backed environment, where performance, growth, and strategic leadership are key. You should have a strong understanding of data analytics and conversion rate optimization, as you will leverage data to guide product decisions and optimize user engagement and growth. Develop Product Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of Mural’s end-to-end product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market opportunities.
Lead productization of Mural consulting and training services under the brand LUMA
Full Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee all aspects of product development, from ideation and design to launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring products meet market and customer needs.
Cross functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, and sales to deliver seamless and innovative product experiences.
Data Driven Decision Making: Leverage market research, user feedback, and data analytics to inform product decisions and iterate on product features and experiences.
Drive Product Innovation: Stay on top of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to ensure the company’s products remain innovative and relevant.
Lead Product Teams: Manage and mentor a team of product managers, ensuring they are aligned with company goals and equipped to succeed in their roles.
User Centric Design: Advocate for Murals customers by ensuring the product experience is user-friendly, addressing customer pain points and improving overall satisfaction.
10+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in an VP/C-Level executive leadership role.
Consumer web experience is a must, particularly with products that require ongoing support and engagement.
Data Driven Approach: Expertise in leveraging data analytics and KPIs, such as conversion rates, engagement metrics, and retention data, to drive product decisions and measure success.
Conversion Optimization Expertise: Deep understanding of conversion rate optimization techniques and experience in improving customer journeys to enhance user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Strategic Visionary: Strong ability to set product strategy and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with business objectives.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of collaboration/productivity trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.
PE-Backed Environment Experience: Operate effectively in a private equity-backed environment, driving results, performance, and growth in line with investor expectations.
