The role
We are searching for a lead developer in the Digital Engagement team to help continuously improve MYOB's customer-facing website experiences. You will lead a team that uses experimentation and personalisation to optimise our acquisition journeys via lead capture, trial signup and product purchase.
The Opportunity
- Crafting journeys and experiences for scale to help prospective customer's trial our products or generate sales leads.
- Provide technical leadership to ensure the products we build are delivered successfully to market.
- Building platform capabilities to help us and our collaborators provide customer value.
- Using technology to make the distribution of content efficient and enable personalised experiences
- Experimenting using A/B/n tests to validate ideas and facilitate continuous improvement to the MYOB experience.
- Optimising website performance and ensuring our experiences are secure and maintained.
What you’ll bring
- You're a hardworking developer with proven understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Work with product owners, design, content and analytics to define and roadmaps, ensuring key technical consideration are thought considered.
- Experience with React and NextJS.
- Experience delivering performant and SEO optimised applications.
- Experience with UI development and component library standard methodologies.
- Proficient in WCAG 2.1 Accessibility standards for AA compliance and version control systems (Git preferred).
- Understanding of APIs and CI tools (Buildkite preferred).
- Experience collaborating with & mentoring more junior engineers.
- An advocate of standard methodologies of testing and writing clean code.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative and agile environment.
- Focus on continuous delivery and automated deployments.
