Live Operations Technical Artist

In this fully remote position you will be working with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement art content to support the Live Operation of a high profile mobile game.• Collaborate with product, art, and engineering teams to ensure efficient integration of art assets into the game;• Importing of 2D and 3D art assets into Unity;• Implementing art into the game using a combination of standard Unity features and internal tools;• Create 3D renders to be used as sprites;• Manage and maintain assets in a version control system;• Help to define and document pipelines and best practices for art creation.• 2+ years of experience with Unity for mobile games;• Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D art pipelines;• Experience with Photoshop / Illustrator;• Knowledge of 3D rendering in Blender / Maya;• Experience with UI / UX design;• Strong problem solving skills;• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;• Knowledge of VFX and particle systems in Unity a plus;• Previous experience with Git is a plus;• NFL knowledge is beneficial.The expected base salary range for this role is based on the location where the employee’s work will be performed and is aligned to one of our three compensation pay range tiers. Base pay is just one part of Mythical’s total compensation package, which is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their efforts and contributions. This role is also eligible to participate in Mythical’s Corporate Bonus and Equity Plan.Tier 1: $110,000 - $152,000Tier 2: $99,000 - $136,000Tier 3: $88,000 - $121,000Tier 1 Locations: San Francisco Bay Area - CaliforniaTier 2 Locations: Remainder of California (outside of the SF Bay Area), Washington state, Massachusetts state, New York stateTier 3 Locations: All other states outside of California, Washington, Massachusetts, and New YorkThe base salary for each successful applicant will be dependent on a variety of factors, including work location, education, qualifications, competencies, relevant work experience, business needs, and market demands.
