Peoplesoft HCM Consultant

1. Configuration and Implementation

  • BenAdmin: Configure and implement PeopleSoft's Benefits Administration module to manage employee benefits, open enrollment, life events, eligibility rules, and plan offerings.
  • Absence Management: Set up and configure PeopleSoft Absence Management to handle absence types, accruals, balances, and absence entitlements, ensuring compliance with organizational leave policies.

2. System Maintenance and Support

  • Provide ongoing support for both modules, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring they run smoothly post-implementation.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements as needed.

3. Business Process Analysis

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements for benefits administration and absence management.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements or changes based on PeopleSoft capabilities.

4. Customizations and Integration

  • Design and implement customizations (if needed) to meet specific client requirements.
  • Integrate PeopleSoft with third-party systems like payroll, HR, or benefits vendors.

5. Data Management and Reporting

  • Ensure proper data management, including setting up eligibility rules for benefits, tracking employee leave balances, and managing accruals.
  • Develop custom reports and queries to provide insights on benefits usage, absence trends, and compliance with organizational policies.

6. Testing and Documentation

  • Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for BenAdmin and Absence Management implementations.
  • Create detailed documentation of system configurations, workflows, and any customizations.

7. User Training and Support

  • Provide training to HR teams, managers, and employees on how to use PeopleSoft BenAdmin and Absence Management effectively.
  • Offer post-go-live support for users, answering questions and resolving issues.

8. Compliance and Regulatory Updates

  • Ensure that the system configurations comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as the Affordable Care Act (ACA) for benefits and local labor laws for absences.
  • Stay up-to-date on new regulations and ensure the system is updated accordingly.

Key Skills Needed:

  • Deep knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management), specifically BenAdmin or Absence Management modules.
  • Experience with SQLPeopleSoft Query, and PeopleCode for customizations and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, including benefits, leave policies, and employee management.
  • Good communication skills for gathering requirements and training users.

Minimum experience : 5+ years
