Intern - Technical Installations
NISC is seeking a summer intern for the Technical Implementations Team, responsible for providing IT support to employees and customers.
Skills
- Customer orientation
- Windows desktop operating systems knowledge
- Linux server familiarity
- TCP/IP network support
- Problem solving
- Communication skills
Responsibilities
- Install and update Veeam Backup and Replication software
- Monitor Veeam Backup and Replication jobs
- Assist with configuration of Linux and Windows servers
- Perform OS package and service pack upgrades
- Create and test printers on servers
- Install SSL certificates on Linux servers
- Monitor servers via Xymon tools
- Log and develop action plans for support issues
Education
- Working towards an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in computer related field
