As the Lead Client Platform Engineer, you will spearhead the design, deployment, and management of client platforms. As a key member of the IT team, you will lead our Client Platform Engineering program, delivering exceptional service and collaborating closely with stakeholders and senior leadership to execute high-impact client platform projects. This role requires multitasking, troubleshooting, and ownership of highly visible projects, with the expectation that you will shape and grow our endpoint management team in alignment with our rapidly expanding business.What You’ll Do:• Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of client platforms across the organization• Serve as the primary lead for a rapidly growing environment encompassing macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, and BYOD devices• Ensure all endpoints are secure, up-to-date, and optimized for performance• Collaborate with cross-functional IT, Security, Legal, and business units to align client platform strategies with organizational goals• Ensure endpoint compliance with company security policies and industry best practices• Oversee the deployment and lifecycle management of operating systems, applications, and hardware across the enterprise• Automate routine tasks to enhance efficiency and accuracy in endpoint management• Develop scalable and robust patch management solutions and strategies• Regularly report on the status of endpoint objectives, projects, and initiatives to senior leadership• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for endpoint management processes and procedures• Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our client platform capabilitiesWhat We’re Looking For:• 7+ years of experience administering and maintaining client platforms (laptops, mobile devices) and associated tools• Proven experience in client platform engineering with a strong background in endpoint management (Windows, macOS, Linux)• Understanding of Cloud technologies and experience in working with AWS, Azure, or GCP• Experience in providing solutions and support on desktop virtualization• Expert knowledge in securing and managing endpoints using JAMF and Intune• In-depth knowledge of modern endpoint patching and onboarding strategies for macOS, Windows, and mobile devices, ensuring a seamless user experience• Advanced scripting skills in Powershell, Batch or Bash script, with a proven ability to automate processes, develop tools, and integrate systems that significantly improve operational efficiency and user experiences• Strong ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines• Leadership experience in developing high-performing engineers• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment• Industry-recognized certifications like MCSE, Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Servers Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Virtual Desktop Speciality, etc are a big plusThe posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets.
