Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

The Multiplatform Strategy & Planning Team works in conjunction with the larger Television and Streaming Marketing Group to help ensure the successful launch of programming across the calendar year, with a specific focus on promotion across Linear Television and Digital Platform.

The Multiplatform Scheduling Coordinator will be scheduling and coordinating promotional assets to support linear and multiplatform for Bravo. This person will support the overall owned media planning strategies and help generate brand awareness by ensuring that all priorities are being effectively and efficiently promoted on-air, on Peacock, on demand, and on other platforms. This person must be skilled in data and analytics, strategy, and planning with the ability to hit hard deadlines, troubleshoot, multitask, and pivot at a moment’s notice.

Responsibilities:

  • Help maximize viewership by strategically planning and scheduling campaigns to maximize reach, frequency, and conversion
  • Plan and schedule across platforms according to marketing priorities, understand premiere plans, rollout, and stunt strategies
  • Gather, utilize, and interpret data to inform strategy and schedules
  • Adjust scheduling as needed when programming or format changes occur, communicating closely with broadcast facilities
  • In conjunction with Multiplatform team members, assist in outlining campaign deliverables and commissioning promo content, relaying Multiplatform strategy and communicating closely with Production/Creative teams to ensure timely delivery of assets
  • Create all promo campaigns in asset management system, scheduling system, and optimizer system with promo codes, versions, flight dates, lengths, and revisions, ensuring the most up to date and accurate data is maintained and swapped as needed
  • Communicate asset and trafficking instructions to execute strategy across Peacock and other non-linear platforms
  • Collaborate across multiple teams, staying up to date with everchanging priorities in a fast-paced environment, tracking schedule changes, creative revisions, etc., and updating all respective documents and teams as needed
  • Communicate closely with counterparts across the Multiplatform Planning team, relaying promo priorities and scheduling nuances
  • Provide asset information for cross network and Symphony support
  • Execute incoming cross network and Symphony strategy on linear for top Comcast/NBCU priorities including Film, Sports, Peacock, Entertainment, News, etc.
  • Assist with compiling and reconciling on-air schedules for post campaign analysis, pulling post-log reports, and analyzing campaign effectiveness to provide recommendations for future strategy and planning
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve, working with all teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies and managing missing assets for scheduling needs
  • Keep up to date with entertainment, content, and industry trends
  • Facilitate promo changes with Master Control during off hours as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, research, data/analytics, film, television or related field
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Familiarity with media metrics (Nielsen, AMRLD data) for planning
  • Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills
  • Excellent quality control abilities
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes
  • Ability to work in multiple timelines concurrently
  • Ability to problem-solve and find solutions to timely issues
  • Self-starter, proactive, resourceful

Desired Characteristics:

  • Promo Scheduling experience a strong plus
  • Data and analytics proficiency a strong plus
  • Knowledge of Programming, Streaming, and Content
  • Strong interest in promotions, advertising, and television
  • Passionate about Bravo, the entertainment industry, and pop culture

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
