Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. NBCUniversal’s content portfolio includes a vast and diverse library of more than 6,500 feature films and 170,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, kids, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Universal Television, UCP, Universal International Studios, Sky Studios, NBC Late Night properties, DreamWorks Animation, Telemundo, and more, as well as locally produced content from around the world. The Manager role will join our systems finance team during an exciting time as we embark on a large subledger replacement project. The individual will be an active owner and contributor of various accounting/finance projects to investigate challenging current financial operational pain points through system research, as well as partnering with varying levels of internal cross functional business stakeholders. The new team member will be a self-starter who looks forward to solving puzzles, analyzing data, and recommending strategic system operational process improvements. In addition, this role will work closely with the IT business support team to ensure consistent communication and positive customer experience for all system users for current production open tickets.
The individual must be extremely organized, customer focused, inquisitive, detailed, and have an accounting background to understand impact to financial statements. This role is highly visible as it will have the unique responsibility of working closely with our cross divisional NBCU Finance family (Film, TV Networks, Peacock, and Production studios), as well as exposure to several global financial and technology leaders.
