Summer 2025 Recruitment Timeline:

Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:
Audience Development, Promo Planning: The Peacock Promo Planning & Strategy team works to drive user engagement and retention through promo campaigns run across Peacock’s platform. Working closely with the Creative Operations and Ad Operations teams to get promotional assets made and trafficked, the team strategizes & experiments to determine the best promotional experience for the wide range of users visiting Peacock each day. In this role, there will be opportunities to understand & contribute to the scale of work that goes into making a promo campaign successful in a streaming environment. In addition to helping the team manage the 100+ assets in-market at any time, there will be growth opportunities to help strategize & develop campaigns across the various content Peacock offers and across NBCUniversal digital portfolio marketing levers.
Platform Editorial: The Content Merchandising & Operations group is responsible for curating and programming all the content, collections, stunts, and user interactions on the Peacock Product. Working in conjunction with the Strategy, Planning, Metadata, and Creative teams, we come up with the curation plan for the platform and enter it into a CMS. The team is currently broken into three sections: Entertainment/VODMerchandising, Sports/Live Merchandising & Operations, and Testing. The Platform Editorial intern would receive exposure to all three teams and have the opportunity to help with exciting projects including platform curation, metadata optimization, and special stunt development for high-priority campaigns on Peacock.
MarTech: The Marketing Technology Intern will join the Growth & Lifecycle Marketing team at Peacock. Sitting within Marketing, the MarTech team supports the tools & capabilities that enable data exploitation across our communication channels – enabling global marketing teams to turn prospective users into Peacock Superfans whose use and enjoyment of the service grows over their lifetime. Directly enabling the product management of Peacock’s MarTech stack, the intern will gain exposure to marketing strategy, subscriber engagement products, product management best practices, and data & infrastructure considerations. During the internship, they will develop & maintain documentation critical to enabling business teams and ensuring transparency. They will be an integral part of launching new acquisition and engagement products and experiences. They will also have the opportunity to support the Comcast NBCUniversal Summit – a key touchpoint to share the latest & greatest in MarTech and to deepen the relationship of MarTech teams across the organization.
Basic Requirements:
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (June 2025 through August 2025). May 2025 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2025 Internship Program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
NBCUniversal is an E-Verify company, requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number. Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire.
Desired Characteristics:
Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Strong interest in marketing, media, and/or entertainment.
Excellent organization, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Strong writing and critical-thinking skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
For Audience Dev, Promo Planning: Interest in operational and analytical work preferred.
For Peacock Growth Product (MarTech): Experience with data and an engineering background preferred.
For Platform Editorial: Experience with CMS and curating content for websites or video services preferred.
The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $17.50.
The hourly rate for graduate student interns is $25.00.
