Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Basic office and clerical support for Talent Department – phones, calendar.
  • Perform research on potential hosts or musical guests.
  • Liaise with studios, public relations firms, and agencies.
  • Track celebrity talent releases for film, tv, music, Broadway, etc.
  • Involvement in day-to-day procedures, assisting production and talent booking team in all stages of production, including booking and coordinating guest movements.
  • Capture and produce behind-the-scenes moments, show highlights, and exclusive content.
  • Develop innovative content ideas that align with the SNL brand and target audience.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum two-year professional work experience with talent required.
  • Must be proficient on Mac.
  • Demonstrate computer knowledge (Excel, Word).
  • Interested candidates must submit a resume for this job online to be considered.
  • Must have ability to work flexible hours due to the production schedule of the show, including weekends and evenings when necessary.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Desired Characteristics:     

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and be agreeable to changes.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and interest in pop-culture is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
  • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.   • Weekly salary range: $1,211.25 - $1,425
  • Hourly salary range: $17.00 - $20.00
  • The candidate who fills this position will be paid at least 60 hours per week regardless of whether they work less than 60 hours. Hours over 37.5 hrs/wk will be paid at the appropriate overtime rate.
