MCC is looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Tech. The main duties of the Technician are to become actively involved in maintaining equipment and building to reduce downtime and increase operating life of the facility. To assist with electrical/mechanical installations and consultations regarding applications. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and perform preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Performs duties including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Supports an optimized production environment by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing and 6S.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Degree/Certificate in a maintenance skillset (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications).
• Experience troubleshooting AC/DC circuits, DC drives, printed circuit boards and programmable controllers.
• The ability to read electrical schematics and use appropriate testing equipment.
• Must be able to operate various tools – drill, sander, drill press, power hacksaw and hand tools.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, welding, and machine shop practices would be helpful.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Requires basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.
• Requires physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and use hands and fingers to feel and handle material for extended time frames
• Must have ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly. Includes the ability to stoop, squat, crawl and kneel as needed.
• Requires strong problem solving skills to assess repairs.
• Must have ability to multi-task and to identify and execute process improvements as needed.
